Sharing my Shopee Referral Code: REF-RAC644 with you today. You can get $10 off your first purchase if you are new and sign up with Shopee.
As Shopee keeps changing their referral rewards value and codes, I will try to keep it as updated as possible.
Shopee has been around for a long time and I believe most people would have bought items from the shopping site before. Yet I am now sharing this because of a change in policy in one of the sites I am selling stuff at, and since I shared this with my buyers, I thought that I should share it here too. 😂
I mostly use Shopee for buying stuff but you can also be a seller on Shopee.
Before I go on, if you are new to shopee, you can sign up using my link here to get a free $10:
And good news for you, you can get $10 off your first purchase.
All you have to do is sign up using my link above (download, install the app and sign up).
During checkout, when making your first purchase, key in my referral code: REF-RAC644 for $10 off.
It’s the discount for the whole transaction so you can purchase a few items so long it’s in one transaction. Bear in mind you won’t get back any leftover amount if your purchase is less than $10.
(eg. Item A is $5, Item B is $3, Item C is $3.5 minus $10 discount, you pay $1.50 for the items, excluding shipping if any)
The main attraction (I feel) of shopee is that they almost always have promo codes and ongoing sales. Either promo codes of individual shops, cashback in terms of their currency (shopee coins), discount vouchers or bank vouchers. They even have dedicated days for different banks with different promotions (check under bank promotions on homepage in the app for details).
Often now, they have “categories day” or “brands day” where a certain category/ brand is highlighted and the official mall of that category/ brand has offers, discounts and promo codes. (eg. electronics/ Bose)
Usually they will have big sales over festive periods, like National Day sale which just passed, where I got a good deal and will share with you in future posts. 😉
The shops in Shopee are of a huge variety and they comprise of local sellers (individuals or shops), overseas sellers from China, Korea, Taiwan and Japan. These are the countries I have encountered so not sure if there are more.
Therefore, when you make your purchase, take note of where it’s shipped from in case you need them urgently, as most overseas purchases take at least one week to reach.
The shops are rated so you can check the ratings and what buyers write to see if you deem them trustworthy.
Just a word of advice, as many shops are from China, even though items listed are written as Original or Authentic, they might not be, and sometimes it’s hard to tell the authenticity so it’s up to you to weigh the cost and how much you value the authenticity of item.
As some shops run their own promotions now, these coupons from the shops are stackable with Shopee’s promotions. Usually they are available in the listings itself, or you can find them in the homepage of that shop, and it would also appear on the top right of the shop listing in cart.
Free gifts with certain amount of purchases from shops will also appear as clickable in cart, and you will have to select them from there, if not it wouldn’t appear in your order.
Shopee also has a guarantee for both buyers and sellers so you will feel more assured when you make your purchase, though it’s always best and easiest to contact your seller first.
If in the case that your seller ignores you, (I have experienced this thrice so far) you can request for a refund stating your reason and if seller doesn’t reply still, you will automatically get your refund after a certain amount of time.
However, the same goes for you. If you did not receive your item, you need to extend your shopee guarantee, if not after a certain amount of time, the order will be automatically confirmed and money will be released to the seller.
There are also sign in bonus (shopee coins) and games you can play in the app to get coins, vouchers and even items. The shopee coins can be used to offset a certain amount of your purchases.
100 coins = SGD$1
Shopee is easy and good to use when you encounter good and responsive sellers, which is why I always check their reviews and ratings before making my purchases.
Shopee is a bit different from other apps in the referral part so even though you used my invitation link to download Shopee, you will still need to use my referral code in order to get the $10 off your first order.
Here is my invitation link and referral code again for your $10 off First Purchase:
Shopee Referral Code: REF-RAC644
Shopee SG is only for locals in Singapore or those with a Singapore phone number because payment methods, even though there are a lot, are only for local payment/ credit cards.
It’s the same as how I want to purchase from Shopee Taiwan but I can’t because they only support Taiwan payment/ credit cards.
This is what your friends will receive when you send them your referral code/ link:
