Before I dive into details of SingapoRediscovers (Rediscover Singapore) vouchers, I went into my accounts for both traveloka and Trip.com but I couldn’t find any referral codes for first time sign up for those sites.
I thought that traveloka used to have referral codes, since I was referred to that site but perhaps it has been removed.
Usually traveloka and trip.com have their promotion codes listed on their sites, in banners or under their promotions. You just have to look before purchasing.
Anyway, this was the only promotion code (TRIPSG10) that I could find for trip.com which would be useful, where you can get an extra $10 off when you redeem your SingapoRediscovers vouchers for hotel bookings via ONLY desktop or laptop.
Mobile and app versions aren’t available as of now.

What is SingapoRediscovers vouchers?
Or Rediscover Singapore vouchers, as how I remembered it before I googled. 😅
It is given to Singapore citizens aged 18 and above (in 2020) to support our local tourism since their businesses is suffering due to shortage of tourists because of the ongoing pandemic.
Each of us will receive $100 digital vouchers (10 x $10 vouchers) that can be used on attractions, hotels and tours in Singapore, from 1st December 2020 to 30th June 2021.
If you are a Singaporean with kids below 18 years old, you can purchase up to 6 tickets with a subsidy of $10 per ticket.
You can access your account through Singpass to check your vouchers balance or to redeem them.

When you login to your SingapoRediscovers account, there will also be a pop up where you can key in your children’s names for the $10 subsidy.
I have yet to redeem anything so it shows $100 balance.
Sadly, you won’t be able to combine your $100 vouchers with your family members’ vouchers to redeem for a staycation at a hotel together. 🤨 Yeah, I thought of that too since I doubt my mum would want to visit the zoo. 😅
How To Redeem Your Vouchers?
There are a few authorised booking partners websites that you can redeem your vouchers at. They are Klook, traveloka, trip.com, Changi Recommends and finally, GlobalTix.
Personally, I have never used Changi Recommends before, but I have used Klook, traveloka and trip.com.
I usually use Klook for booking activities, attractions and transport (trains, cable cars etc) and both traveloka and trip.com for hotels accommodations and flights.
FYI, Klook doesn’t only have local activities, attractions etc, they have good offers for overseas ones too but for these SingapoRediscovers vouchers, they are only applicable for Singapore.
1) Choose your activities, hotels on the booking sites.
2) When you are ready to pay, click on “Use digital SingapoRediscovers vouchers”
3) Login via Singpass
4) Activate children subsidies (if applicable). If not, just close the pop up.
5) Select the amount you want to redeem and “Get Voucher Code”
6) Paste the code on your checkout page of the booking site
Even though you can’t combine your vouchers with those of your family members, there are still a lot of things that you can do together and places that you can go as a family. Just do a search and there are lots of lists suggested by people and websites.
I was actually quite shocked that there were many activities which I have never heard of. 😅
If you are booking an activity/ attraction/ hotel stay through either Klook or Trip.com, you can get extra rebates/ cashback by booking through Shopback.

Oh! I forgot to mention that klook and trip.com both gives you a certain amount of credits into your account when you make a purchase.
You can also get $50 Klook voucher for your next hotel booking when you use at least $50 of vouchers on a hotel stay.
If you have a UOB card, you get additional discounts automatically, subjected to twice redemption per user.
There are many budget hotels within the given budget of $100 but I think I am still more attracted to the activities and attractions which I have not tried before.
Moreover, with all the promotion codes above, I think it’s more worthed it to use Klook. 😜 And I think I still have credits in my account which I can utilise.
