It's My Life~

I am (almost) fully vaccinated!

I am fully vaccinated… well almost. πŸ˜‚

The second shot was a torture. πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’« I haven’t had a fever for so long, I had forgotten what it felt like. πŸ₯΅πŸ₯ΆπŸ€’

With all the weird side effects I had, I will write about it in another post. πŸ˜†

Have already taken two shots of Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine but the reason I said almost is because, it has not been fully two weeks since I took my second shot.

And as the vaccines need time to take effect, I will have to wait for two weeks from my second dose of Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.

As you can see from above, the names of the vaccines stated is slightly different from my first shot. This is because Comirnaty is another name for the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, and they are both the same vaccine.

My first was definitely the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine as Comirnaty was not in used here yet.

For the second shot, it could be either, but they are actually the same thing, just labelled differently, so don’t worry if you see Comirnaty instead of Pfizer.

You can read about it on the MOH website if you are interested.

When you have received your vaccination, you can actually find them updated on your Trace Together app, quite fast.

With one shot, it will be shown as In Progress.

As mentioned earlier on, as my second vaccination has not been two weeks yet, my current vaccination status is Waiting to take effect.

Clicking on it will tell you the actual status and in my case, my vaccination will be effective from 4 August 2021, two weeks from my second shot on 21 July.

You can also click on the link to go to HealthHub where you can find your detailed vaccination records, as well as your vaccination report.

You can click on View More for more details.

Download PDF is for you to download your vaccination report.

This is what my Covid-19 Vaccination Report looks like.

I removed some of the details so yours should have more details including your name, IC and batch numbers.

As you can see from the fine prints above, it is stated that this report is for your personal record only. If you need an official vaccination certificate, you need to visit: https://www.notarise.gov.sg

Have you gotten your vaccination? πŸ’‰

This delta variant is really scary and looking at the number of cases everyday, even though we are back to Phase 2 (Heightened Alert), it doesn’t seem to be really dropping much.

According to the whatsapp message sent by Gov.sg on 3rd August,

Unvaccinated elderly 70 and above: 21%
Unvaccinated elderly 60 to 69: 13%

The number of elderly who aren’t vaccinated yet are worrying as they are at a much higher risk of complications, so if you have older friends or family who are not vaccinated, try to persuade them to do so.

They can just walk in to the vaccination centres to get their jab. I have seen elderly who walk in, when I was waiting for my turn, and they were just led in to have their vaccination. No fuss at all. Of course, do remind them to bring their IC with them.

Meanwhile, do take care and keep safe!
