Thinking it is about time I share this because it will be especially useful during this period of time. Probably not for today but it might still be in time for any last minute reservations.
Though you will definitely be able to use it for Father’s Day next month. Also, since Singapore has gone back to Phase 2, it will be useful if you need to book a restaurant for friends and family gatherings or meet ups.

You can use the Chope-dollars to buy deals or cash vouchers to offset your deals purchases. When you have accumulated 600 Chope-Dollars, you will be able to redeem for a $5 voucher, 1000 for $10 and 1,800 and 2,600 for $20 and $30 vouchers respectively.
Chope is an app/ website where you can make reservations for dining and earn rewards at the same time.
You can also have food delivery and there are also discounted deals which you can purchase to use as cash vouchers at the restaurants.

1) Reservation/ Booking Restaurants
– 100 Chope-Dollars
After which, you just need to make a reservation with a restaurant.
Every completed booking with the restaurant gives you 100 Chope-Dollars.
You will only receive the 100 Chope-Dollars after you have visited the restaurant. Remember to mention to the restaurant that you have booked under Chope, just in case.
Sometimes, there are promotions for earning more Chope-dollars for visiting certain restaurants. Do look out for them.

How To Use Chope To Do A Booking/ Reservation?
It’s easy to do a booking. To make a reservation, just find the restaurant that you want.
Not all restaurants are available in Chope but usually the more costly ones are. π
Select the restaurant you want.
I have selected Outback Steakhouse here.
You can view the details of that restaurant after you click on it.
Click on Check Availability and here you select the number of people, date and time that you would like to make a reservation.
After you have clicked on Proceed, you will have to key in diner details (if you haven’t entered) and any special requests you might have.
If you have a promo code, this is also where you will type in the code.
There are special promo codes given by Chope sometimes for extra Chope-Dollars when you make a booking with certain restaurants. You will be able to get them in the app itself or in their emailers.
2) Order – Delivery/ Pick Up
– 25 Chope-Dollars
I have tried Pick Up and with each order, I received 25 Chope-Dollars. Will need to try more variations for this to see if it’s standard for every order.
Delivery is something new which I have yet to try, and you can find it in the same section as Pick Up orders
Depending on the location of the restaurants, there is a different delivery fee charged.
3) Deals
The third and last function of the app is Deals.
There are different kind of deals for each restaurant and they usually vary between weekday and weekend deals.
Remember to check the terms and conditions of those deals to see when they can be used before you purchase.
The deals can be redeemed directly from the app itself.
When you make a reservation with a certain restaurant, their deals will usually be listed there too so if you can make use of the deals, you might be prompted by the app to purchase.
Also, when you do the booking, you will be asked if you are using a deal.
You will be able to edit your reservation details, including date, time and the number of people after you have made the booking so you don’t have to cancel and do the booking again.
It’s really convenient and easy.

Chope Rewards: Chope-Dollars:
Going back to Chope’s rewards scheme that lets you earn Chope-Dollars, there are different membership tiers associated with your account.
You start off as a member and the more reservations that you fulfill, the higher tier you can go to.
Second tier is Bronze which is the current tier I am at. Here you earn the same 1x multiplier as Member.
As you can see above, the Chope-Dollars will expire according to the time you earn them so remember to redeem them before they expire.
I totally forgot about mine. π
The third tier is Silver.
Here you can receive 1.25x Chope-Dollars.
The fourth tier is Gold.
You can get 1.5x Chope-Dollars.
The fifth and last tier is Platinum, which you can receive 1.75x Chope-Dollars.
When you click on View Rewards, you can see your membership tier. Scroll down and you will be able to view the rewards that you can redeem.
Usually when I redeem rewards, I prefer to use the website for easier access to all the rewards.
Also, I always choose to redeem for the Chope Deals Discount code. You will need 600 Chope-dollars for $5, 1000 Chope-Dollars to redeem for a $10 code etc.
After you have redeemed, you will receive the code in your email (almost immediately) and when you purchase a deal voucher, enter the code and the amount for the voucher code will be deducted from the total.
From memory, if it hasn’t changed yet, you can key in multiple codes to redeem a voucher so if you have two $10 codes, you can key in both.
You can also refer your friends and families to sign up for Chope and this is what they will receive.
