Tips and Tricks – Harry Potter Wizards Unite
Last updated on 16th July 2022, Saturday
Here are some tips that I learned while playing the game so sharing them.
Go into the game at least once a day to collect the daily freebies.
The more times you log in daily that month, the better the rewards.
They collect automatically once you log in so you don’t have to do anything.
There are 7 tasks to complete daily and upon completing each task, you get a reward. Once you finish all 7 tasks, you can collect 8 coins.
The tasks are the same everyday and you can get up to 10 free coins if you complete all the tasks.
Brew your potion to collect by 12am or collect only after 12am so that it counts as completed for one of the task.
Prestige Your Registry
Once you finish collecting a set of collection, remember to prestige it. If you don’t, you won’t be able to get more XP for each returned foundable.
On the completed page in registry, click on the star in the top right corner (circled in red below).
It will say that: Presitiging this page will upgrade this page’s frame and reward you more Family XP for each Foundable returned. The collectibles on this page will reset.
Choose Yes to Prestige the page.
Once you prestige, the collection resets and more foundables will be needed to complete the next set.
Switch Your Profession
You can switch your profession at any time but I would advise against it once you start a profession, until you have completed everything for that profession. Especially when you have already used the special books to upgrade that skill.
Under Profession, when you click on the individual profession, you get the choice to switch to another profession.
When you do challenges, there are recommended levels and different levels in the towers. The different levels and the recommended are determined by your profession levels.
To check your current level on your profession, click on profession and check the number at the top left corner (circled in yellow below).
My current Auror level is 5.
Therefore, my recommended Challenge level is till 5.
You will need a lot more potions especially healing potion if you want to tackle higher levels especially alone.
Speeding Up Potions Brewing
Click on the spoon in the potions brewing page.
You will see this and inside the cauldron, you draw different symbols (Master Notes) for the various potions to speed up brewing.
Once you have entered the symbols for each potion three times, they will appear automatically on top of the cauldron for your easy reference.
There are different symbols (Master Notes) for the different potions which you have to enter.
These are the potions that you can make and speed up.
Strong Invigoration Draught
Baruffio’s Brain Elixir
Strong Exstimulo Potion
Potent Exstimulo Potion
To check the different symbols that you can use, click on the “i” on the top of potions.
In the potions info, you can see the Master Notes (symbols) used for speeding up the process of brewing potions.
The symbols are quite self explanatory and there is also explanation stated. For the taps, just tap 3 times.
Collecting excess energy
Energy is needed for traces and challenges. You can collect excess energy in this way, even if you have already exceeded your maximum amount.
For example, I already have 79 energy out of 75 and collecting at inns will not increase it anymore.
Save the 10 energy that you get from your daily assignment for emergency use or to store till your energy is max or exceeded.
You can still collect it even if your energy has exceeded.
After collecting from assignment, my energy is further exceeded by 10, reaching 89 out of 75.
This is useful when you need to store energy for challenges without needed to find inns or greenhouses.
You don’t have to collect portkeys immediately unlike eggs in Pokemon Go.
Therefore, you can use Brain Elixir for double XP before collecting.
You can clear some space for ingredients before unlocking the portkeys.
(This is highly recommended because if you don’t have space in your ingredients inventory, you will not be able to get the ingredients found in portkeys.)
That’s all for now. Will update if I do find more useful tips along the way.
